My Love of Art...

As for where my passion comes from, it started at a young age. My father also has a love of arts, and both parents encouraged my artistic and creative sides as I grew. It started with arts and crafts and grew into drawing, sculpting, and painting, taking classes in middle and high school. Most of my art has been done on simple pencil and paper, with the occasional painting thrown in. My love for digital art came from the desire to paint with the freedom that I draw with. Being able to go back and start from scratch and use various different brushes and textures set my imagination free. So much of my influence stems from feelings that are drawn from my life. This could mean something I saw that made me feel like a child again, that innocence and freedom so strong that I needed to capture the moment. I decided when I saw Arturo Mendoza Elfeo work that I wanted to be able to tell a story with my art the way he does. On the right is one of his pieces that I love.
